What are today’s home buyer’s looking for? January 30th
A panel of rehabbers and Realtors moderated by Kathy Gilmore, what to put into your rehabs at different price points!
Have you ever bought a fixer-upper to rehab and then thought “Now what do I do?” You’ve probably pondered questions like…
- Should I take out a wall to open the space up?
- What paint colors should I use?
- Should I use rubbed bronze, brushed nickel or brass finishes?
- Should I do carpet, hardwood, laminate or tile flooring?
- What kind of fixtures, lighting, countertops or doors should I use?
- Should I add a deck, patio, porch, garden or other WOW factor?
- Should I add another bathroom?
- Should I add square footage?
- Should I create a finished basement?
These questions and more will be answered at the January DIG meeting when our talented and experienced panel of local investor-rehabbers address the design issues that we all struggle with in renovating properties for rentals and flips.
They will cover what design and budget decisions are made for low, middle or high-end rentals, and for middle and high-end flips – the do’s and don’ts of good design, what’s trendy, chic, tasteful or timeless, and why it’s critical to “know your market & customer” when making design decisions.
Be sure to join Dina Robinson, Bonnie Pappas, Stephanie Pappas and moderator Kathy Gilmore – as they cover this dynamic and fascinating topic and help you decide HOW TO SIZE-UP and DESIGN rehabs that buyers and tenants will fall in love with! Plus, one lucky person in the audience will win a FREE DESIGN CONSULATION on their next Rehab! Be in the know and take this important first step to successful rehabbing in 2014. See you there!
